My Old-Blog (Glioblast-oh-shit)
Back on 2019, I was diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme (GBM) - an incurable, very aggressive form of brain cancer.
During my treatment (multiple brain surgeries, Radiotherapy, and Chemotherapy), I created a blog to share my thoughts and experience as a cancer patient. There’s loads of posts in that blog about side-effects, what is “radiotherapy masks”, etc - apparently they’re useful!
Now, the experience that I had fighting against GBM, it’s a huge load different to other cancer treatments. I’d say that it was easy-peasy stuff, though a few ugh-days.
When I was treated for my real cancer (Anaplastic Ependymoma), I was treated with some super-strong Chemotherapy (a completely different experience to what I had with GMB). All the harder experience stuff will be posted in My Story.
